Want a quick, fun drink for a party, picnic or sunny day? Here it is!
So quick and easy that you can put it together last minute if need be.
What you need:
2 cups citrus juice
1 batch simple syrup
juice from two passion fruit (optional, but oh so good!)
Toss everything together in a large pitcher along with 8 cups of water. Add ice and you are set.
We used 2 blood oranges and 6 or so tangelos to get 2 cups of juice. Then we added the passion fruit to give it a little more something. The end result was a fresh version of POG, sans quava.
To make Simple Syrup:
2/3 cup granulated sugar (we like raw, cane sugar)
1/2 cup water
Put sugar and water in a small pan, stir and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly or add ice before adding to juice and water.
